Linux already took over the world. The lion's share of servers run Linux. It doesn't matter what OS regular users use, Linux runs the global network infrastructure.

They are not at all, I agree. What I said was the Linux market share for desktops is inconsequential due to the fact that it dominates the server space. More Linux desktop users does not matter. Linux already took over the world.
