That's the problem with extremist groups. They never end well no matter which side you are on. It started as a group against police brutality -- but they royally screwed it up. They could have had lots of people of every race on their side, on an issue a lot of people support - but instead they turned to be to be a criminal racist hate group.

They are just as bad as the KKK except on the other side of the racial fence. I wonder if they grasp just how much they are hurting their "cause"?

These new "rights movements" are basically just terrorist groups at this point and are a slap in the face to those that have fought for racial and gender equality in the past.

I've talked to many of these types of people. They believe all whites are responsible in some way. They don't see it as racism at all. I've shown them videos of people being dragged out of cars and beaten to death for no other reason than being white, and they shrug it off and say "whitey had it coming". Racism has nothing to do with race apparently. Its just " revenge" to them. Even though my family is German and immigrated here to escape Nazi Germany, I've still been told I'm 100% responsible. There is no reasoning with them.

Agent provocateur co-opting a movement, this would probably lead to more police brutality than not, ironic or intentional? Either way it shifts focus away from the police and towards one another. Strengths far right and far left ideologies, creates the ultimate enemy within, as above calls for anti terror response, 1984 in 2016. Or am I full of shit?

I lost a good friend who posted a bunch of amerikkka videos and duck whitey, Yada yada. I called his racist bullshit and I was told that black people can't be racist and that we aren't friends because I'm now a racist. I never insulted anyone.

I'm with you man. Scumbags come in all races, genders, shapes and sizes. Can't hate a group of people by the actions of a few.

What exactly did Obama do? I know you want to blame your stubbed toes on Obama, but how did he whip this up? Let me guess, the little bit of attention he paid to his was somehow coded language that all niggers understand, and the message was "Time to move on whitey, mah Niggaz"?

Let all the races of the world join together to remove the black community.

Edit: I guess I should clarify, I have nothing against black people just toxic communities that breed hate crimes and Lynch mobs and this time around it's coming from the black community.

Jesus, just no dude. No. I'm sick of the violent rhetoric. This should highlight to everyone how similar all humans are, regardless of race. You see the most incredible acts of compassion from every race, and you also see this kind of shit from every race.

It took them what? Three weeks to become an openly, outspoken, racist hate group? If this is the best black America has to offer then we should just meet them with reciprocity.

Why do you think "best black America" has to offer is a hate group?

By that reasoning, Trump is your best person in the USA; headlines don't make something "better".

Damn whitey and his multicultural, democratic, secular society and his welfare system!

What we need is a revolution based on gangstas and car theft and looting and angry black women!

Whitey be like "please don't destroy the city's infrastructure because it will cost a fortune to repair" and we be like "too late whitey, it's trashed, ha ha!".

O.K—i understand the hatred, the violent tendencies that arise from knowledge of past racism, basically the eye for an eye mentality—but it is not the route that will lead us out of the problem of racism. The route to salvation (no religious connotations) is forgiveness, reconciliation, and the understanding that people can change from what their mothers and fathers have taught them. What past generations have done is not what defines the current generation, and although it feels better to get this sort of justification, as anger and violence has an immediate gratification aspect, it is not the final way to make things right.

I'm sure my views will be either highly disregarded or highly ignored, but as a person interested in human development as a whole, forgiveness is the path while further violence and hatred only perpetuates the cycle.

That's what MLK knew, and it's why he affected so much more change than Malcolm X.

The reality is that equality in America has never been taken, it's only ever been given. A white President signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Men voted to give women the right to vote. Straight supreme court justices decreed national marriage equality.

Any action that furthers the rift between the majority and a minority only serves to cause irreparable harm to the cause of the minority. In the current environment of racial tension, violence only provides ammunition to bigots that want to paint all minorities as ignorant animals that deserve police brutality, and alienates the moderate members of the majority that might have eventually joined the cause.

MLK wouldn't have succeeded without Malcolm. The black Panthers weren't about killing whitey. They were about protecting the community from abuses of power. Without them and their intimidation the civil rights movement would have fizzled out just like occupy

That's just it, hearing what black people from the blatantly and violent old days of racism have to say paints a much more pretty picture of how far everyone has come. The ones I have talked to and heard, are not under the impression that racism against black people is prevalent today.

Did I miss the part where they actually provide a link to where the "Find a white person, kill them, and then upload a picture of the dead body to social media" directive was posted?

Because to me, this article just looks someone trying to stir the race-war pot.

Looks like they are succeeding based on the comments in this thread. Simply spout some nonsense that reinforces an internal view on a divisive topic and watch it go.

Think, then speak, could fix a shitload of the worlds issues.

Also not all those lynched were innocent people. I'm not saying extrajudicial punishment is excusable, I'm just saying that the usual narrative is that lynchings were solely committed by whites against innocent blacks just because they were black, which is a false narrative.
