What happens when you get them all? I've never understood this. Many of those games are terrible. Outside of a museum, or being OCD, I don't see the appeal of buying garbage games just because they exist.

It would literally be a museum in my home which has every PAL Playstation 2 game that has ever been made. It would be quite the sight to see mind you considering I'll need 3 more shelves to fit the entire library on there.

So your motivation is appearances? Like buying a piece of artwork you like an hanging it on the wall at home? I suppose I can sort of understand it in that context, but I still wouldn't be impressed that you bothered to buy the worst PS2 games ever made.

As a fellow collector, I'm extremely jealous and excited for you to get 100%

Your shelf needs some lights to shine upon your collection! Adds to it's authenticity ;)

It's not just games... It's stamps, coins, trading cards, shoes, or shirts, DVDs, books, posters, comics, toys... There are thousands of things to collect! The idea of having a complete slice of human history is fantastic, regardless of how important that slice is in the grand scheme of things. Owning the end product of every individuals contribution is actually quite amazing when you think of the hundreds of thousands of hours of effort you own, in just a few shelves.

Why do anything besides eat, sleep and fuck?

I agree. Of all the things you can buy just because they exist shit video games comes at the bottom of my list.
