I mean, I loathe myself and have pretty bad mental issues, I'm just not dumb enough to think eating myself into an early grave is going to help anything. I feel like obesity is just laziness, not necessarily self loating or even cognizant self destruction. I think, based on the fats I've know, they just don't realize how fat they're getting and by the time they have to lose 100+ lbs to be human again, they think "fuck it, might as well enjoy life". Which is the wrong attitude to have. Plus, like you said, they have a fucked up reward complex where if they walk for 5 minutes they "deserve" a large cheeseburger meal. So there might be some insanity mixed in with the laziness.

I think you over analyzed this one. I think they just never grew up, seek instant gratification in the easiest way, food. It is easy to get, copious in this world, and satisfies our baser instinct to seek nourishment and not starve.

Then again i also think they are just fucking stupid, and the more adipose they pack into their skulls the more fucktarded they get.

I agree with this opinion, it's all very short term satisfaction. Those things never think beyond their current "needs", fuck thinking about the future.

I think it's actually more like type 2, wherein the mental illness is self inflicted because of obesity. They eat themselves into a host of mental and physical problems, and depression just happens to be one of them.

Of course, some of us have these illnesses, and we're not fat (we have at least one type 2 shitlord here, and I know a bunch of us have various depressions, and anxiety disorders), and it's only going to get tougher, 'cause more and more of the treatments for these illnesses will be obesity based.

Fatties really do ruin everything.

Maturity is being able to delay gratification. In this day people can survive and be immature. As a matter of fact a lot of people worship the immature. You can see that in just about every reality show. So more and more people are being raised without learning to be mature which begets fats.

  1. There are more stupid humans/hams alive than smart humans. (Obesity is one physical manifestation of their lack of intelligence). (A few examples of what I mean by stupid humans: humans that are unwilling/incapable of learning new things, humans that when confronted with strong or irrefutable evidence which contradicts their beliefs they actively ignore said evidence or refuse to admit they were ever wrong, humans that fight over a magical piece of land granted to them by their whatever invisible deity they believe in, humans that have the inability to see the long term consequences of their actions today, etc).

  2. The fatter the stupid humans/hams get, the stupider they become.

These stupid humans/hams that infest the planet have always been around, we are only able to notice them all now because of the internet and social media, in addition to the fact that there are 7 billion humans alive on the planet at one time which is unprecedented in human history = way more fucking stupid humans around than ever before.

If you're at all interested in psychology and have any understanding of the brain's biology, you may find this article interesting. It's an overview of how obesity behaviorally and neurologically overlaps with addiction, and is written by some very prominent names in the field of addiction.

I like your analysis but I'd like to add (in private) that I believe they all have developed or are developing eating disorders. I would never TELL this to one of them because they would want to milk that 110% ("YOU CAN BE FAT AND HAVE ANOREXIA"), but the deteriorative psychology stems from behavioural practices that escalate in a common manner. Like a restrictive eating disorder, the habits start out well-meaning and somewhat balanced ("oh it's just an occasional treat" / "It's just breakfast. you don't NEED breakfast"..."oh, well i'm only 10 lbs overweight, it doesn't mean i'm unhealthy" / "oh i'm just 5 lbs underweight, some people are naturally like that. plus i like the aesthetic")...this is all just equal and opposite distortions of food-and-body perception. It's all dangerous and SHOULD NOT be promoted. The delusion needs to be completely disassembled. This is why I will shitlord (albeit subtly)...and while I will still steer kids in a healthy direction if they are getting fat/are fat, I won't judge a child who hasn't stood a chance to prevent their own fattening. It completely wrecks their psychology and most of the ones who DO learn how to become human have an exponentially higher chance of developing a restrictive eating disorder. I will hate their parents to the moon and back. If they don't get it together by the time they're in their teens though...well, what can I say? Just my thoughts on this issue.
