depends what they need them for you only need a handful to deal with spam, you need a bit more if you want to filter out stuff like shitposting, but at 10+ rather than controlling the people you don't want on here it seems more like you want to control the users themselves

Been there and done that and it is a lot of work to keep up with all the posts especially on a popular board with hundreds if not thousands of posts every day. Mods can't be here 24/7 that is why you need so many. Spam is easy to shut down, trouble makers are a lot harder to keep up with especially if there are a number of them.

Don't ask I'm not doing it again.

depends on whether you use reddit's number 70k, or Q's number 297k i suppose.

I believe then 70k is subscribers and the 297k is viewers.

Probably had so many mods to try and delete every little thing that would remotely come close to getting the sub banned. In the end it didn't matter if the site rules were followed or not though

And as v/pizzagate has shown, it's almost impossible to get a sub banned here, so it re-begs the question, why so many mods? Especially 0|0 mods that are 1 day old?

no, the banning was all over the place. Depending on who was modding at the time of day. what their mood was, etc., determined what they would remove or ban. There was no consistency, no base line, no congruity between the mods. It was as if they were not on the same page.
