So I live in the glorious country of Sweden (perhaps you've heard of it), and we have a weapon law so strict it makes it impossible (or does it?) for any law abiding citizen to carry anything in self defense. We obviously don't allow fire arms, but we also don't allow anything that is intended to be used as a weapon. Literally. Anything that is carried for the intention to be used as a weapon (for example, a pencil) can be counted as a knife by a court of law and would therefore be breaking the knife law.
So let's brainstorm. Are there any objects you normally carry with you that can be more useful than your bare hands in a self defense situation? Because if you're carrying this object with you in your day-to-day life, it is not being carried with the intention of using it as a weapon. Keep in mind that weaponized versions of normal objects, such as the Unbreakable Umbrella™, are obviously out of the picture since they're being carried with the intention of using them as weapons.
PS: I predict some incoming "Sweden is fucked, just get out etc" comments but no. I refuse to flee and give up on Sweden and her people.
