/v/danielflamino...good idea! I've been meaning to test some things out

Hey man, do you know where I can watch Fringe? I don't think my country has Netflix (is it even on there?) so I have limited options. I really want to watch it though. I might buy the box sets if there are no options left and have the money to dish out.

There's a phone app I use called showbox, not available on the app store but has almost every show and movie I can think of for streaming and download.

Ok so I started /v/LiverpoolFC because I support the club, there aren't many football fans around though let alone Liverpool fans so it's kind of dead unfortunately, all my newer posts stay on 1. I had a second mod who was supposed to make the place look nice but he left Voat so if any Liverpool supporters want mod just ask me, we need a classy joint like the sub on Reddit!
I started /v/WildSpeculation because I had the idea that it would be nice to have a place to spill the hare-brained theories that we all have but have have no proof that they are true. That's a fun sub and it gets a nice bit of traffic. I added @SurvivorType because he can do CSS stuff but he's a decent chap and a good co-mod to have.
I requested /v/israelexposed because I am a strong supporter of the rights of Palestinians both in Israel and the occupied territories and I wanted to keep the sub alive. It has fuck all subscribers but a lot of the posts there get upvoted to front page so I guess people probably forget to subscribe, which I don't blame them for. I often go to submit a link to a subverse I enjoy only to find I'm not subscribed to it so it's easy to happen.
I got added to /v/introductions, which is also moderated by @SurvivorType and @farqanator, because I was quite active there saying hello to new users as it was so I was asked if I wanted to help moderate. It's a lot more work than I anticipated because it's super busy, particularly with the current influx, but I get to read a lot of funny and interesting introduction messages so I don't mind :)
I also got added to /v/shortstories just two days ago and it's awesome, some of the stuff people write and submit is seriously good. I really haven't done much but read stories for the last couple of days! It's a nice change from the news and politics stories where users all have very strong opinions, which is good but /v/shortstories is a nice change of pace :)

Just subbed to v/shortstories. Thanks for letting me know it exists.

No problem :)

Just checked out short stories as well. I liked some of the stories I saw on the front page but haven't had a chance to check out any of the other works yet.

I moderate /v/crossdressing because it's relevant to my interests. The previous moderator was inactive, so I thought that I may as well claim it.

Thanks! :D

/v/opendiscussion because I wanted a place for people to come and have a mature discussion on topics that are sensitive in nature. It is also a more mature setting than /v/AskVoat. Also this post was big in giving me motivation to create /v/opendiscussion.
/v/factcheck I wanted a place for people to be able to come and get people to fact check news articles, things shared on Facebook, or even political statements.
I also moderate /v/shortstories, and /v/newsubverses because I was asked to help.

And you do a damn good job of it.
[–] Clayton 0 points 1 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago
Thank you. :) I try.

Well, it may or may not be obvious but I mod /v/beards because I like to sport my manliness across the interwebs. Seriously though, beards look great but only if taken care of. Most don't know of the different things you can get to make your life, and possibly your SO's life easier. I can't tell you how much my wife hated my beard when we first met, I also wasn't taking good care of it. That's when I started my beard grooming crusade, and haven't looked back sense. Aside from that time where I had to shave for our wedding. A well groomed beard can take you far.

It's the truth, it personally helps me out though. I get less acne when I don't shave, and maintaining a beard just feels easier, even though it may take more time. Soup is hard, you know what is worse though. A good old fashion burger with ketchup, mustard, mayo, and all the essentials. It's a fucking mess. You end up eating more of your own beard hair.
[–] JJEvil [S] 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
LOL. You should make a parody sub about the beard master race. You could look down on all the filthy sideburn peasants.

You've got almost 600 subscribers on /v/anime. That's quite decent with voat still in it's infancy. What are they doing over there to spread the word? I'm still hoping to hit 200 soon.

It looks like most of the verses I moderate have already been mentioned by others in the thread, so first I'll add /v/promptoftheday to the list. It's a collection of images to inspire writing.
I created it because I mod the sub on reddit and wanted to branch out here. I sometimes dabble at writing, so it's an interest close to my heart. Same reason I created /v/shortstories, I guess. :)
I inherited /v/introductions because the previous mod was inactive and I wanted to make sure new users were greeted and provided any information they needed.
/v/WhereDidTheSodaGo was created because I saw a conversation between a couple Voaters wishing it existed. One of them, @Kunkka is my co-mod.
In the rest of the subverses I help moderate, I was added by the owners to help out:
/v/atkoism - added by @chronos
/v/iama - added by @Clayton
/v/myphotography - added by @Mokum
/v/opendiscussion - added by @Clayton
/v/wildspeculation - added by @mr_skeltal

/v/photography and /v/photocritique which i chose to moderate because of my huge passion for all things photography related. Feel free to stop by! If you're new to photography or a veteran we'd love to have you!
