The best way to judge individuals is by their actions.

However the best way to judge groups is by the average actions of that group.

So while 'not giving as fuck about someones race' is both good and accurate, applying the same concept to entire groups is spectacularly dangerous and irrational.

I couldn't have said that better.

I might add though:

"We judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their behaviour." – Stephen M.R. Covey

My point being that if people deserve it, it can be worthwhile to consider their intentions as well.

Leaves you where you should be. Confused because European is not a race.

"Race" is the wrong metric. The point is culture. And the only cultures that have thrived and spread the enlightenment are those established by the British. The continentals can barely keep themselves together. Looking further abroad you have Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand. What do these successful countries have in common? What don't other European former colonies have in common?

Honestly, I am willing to bring the rest of Western civilization along, but the only worthwhile bit is British because they actually implemented and spread the ideals of the Enlghtenment. The rest of Europe and the world didn't and haven't.
