Seriously, pack it up folks, we're done here. This one has it all.
-looks twice as old as it actually is
-shitty neon blue hair with equally shitty haircut
-feather tattoo with "inspirational" quote
-seven visible stomachs, might literally be a cow
A rich man doesn't have to tell people he's rich. A smart man doesn't have to tell people he's smart. So why the fuck do fatties insist on telling the world how "beautiful" they are? submitted by tuxedo to fatpeoplehate

STRATFOR is a controversial organization. Julian Assange calls it the "private intelligence Enron", but The Atlantic calls it "a joke". Regardless, it's clients include Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. It's been accused of using offshore tax havens to funnel money to informants, manipulating the media, monitoring activist groups on behalf of large corporations, and making investments based on secret intelligence.
The emails are too vague to tell what reddit stood to gain from the partnership, although it appears nothing came of it.
edit: scratch that. It appears STRATFOR did engage in some kind of reddit promotion, or at least monitored their own site's incoming links, back in 2008.
In a nutshell: STRATFOR were surprised after getting 2000+ new site visitors, but no new email signups, and starts to consider reddit as a viable promotion platform. Might explain the meeting with Alexis, I don't know. Acknowledges that "quasi-market" forces determine what makes "the top of the heap" - i.e. the front page.

Adobe Premiere Elements.
It's amazing going from Windows Movie Maker to a decent video editing software. Night and day.

I'm interested in knowing why Atko spent "two nights" creating his own image host when there are at least two or three superior options already available (e.g. imgtc, imgoat.com, catbox.moe, etc.)
His site doesn't even use HTTPS, which all three that I listed do.
I realize these things are a work in progress, but so is Voat, and imo that's where his focus needs to be. Not to mention image hosting is a financial blackhole. Voat still needs all the support it can get.
