"My weight isn't your problem. It doesn't affect anyone but me."

I always remind fatties that, as someone with an eating disorder, I am far more likely to be triggered into pushing food away and/or purging when I see a fat instead of seeing someone slim or fit. I'm not alone in this.
Also, FuckEatingDisorders is a subverse here on Voat for anyone that has an eating disorder or wants to ask questions about them.

Then why even talk to me about this in the first place?
This. This 1000 times. She has no business counseling you and the fat you rejected had no business complaining. You need to talk to someone who represents equal opportunity on campus. Explain the situation. While it might seem like going overboard, you want to file a complaint (and take note of who you spoke to, what they said, and their resolution...as in, take actual notes). The reason is because if this does end up biting you in the ass, you can use this in your defense. The school will have already been alerted that your professor developed a bias against you.
Please do this.

They're pieces of shit for allowing this nonsense to happen, but she's probably at a point in her life where she needs to start saying "no" to all the snacks.

Just because you have the food in your house doesn't mean you have to overeat it. They may not have the control over what's purchased but they can control what they put into their mouths. She's not a crawling baby. She is a thinking, learning individual. There are plenty of Tubblrites that live at home and they don't get to choose the groceries, either. Want to give them a pass?

We're here to hate on fats. When given a choice between hating on fats and hating on a human, you've chosen to hate on the human. This isn't the place for you. You don't have to support everything humans do, but wording it like that shows you think it's acceptable in some situations to side with a fat.
