Haha. Disney should just stick to the original plot about beastiality.

That's a screen cap of the site running on .NET Core--Microsoft's open source version of the .NET framework. This means they can run voat on e.g., Linux instead of paying extra for computers with licensed copies of Windows. It took a fair amount of doing to make it work but soon it'll cost less to run voat.

It's wrong to subvert gaming for your left wing activism period. Gaming is about fun not activism. submitted by RampancyLambentRaven to gaming

Yeah came here to say you can't curate v/games because of the free speech. All voat subs must effectively be v/whatever because to moderate off-topic discussion is on the same continuum as censorship.

I'm not knocking it. Just observing that there is a tension between the opposing ideals.

Anyway, maybe OP meant r/games? Seems like he accidentally to disambiguate his title.

Yes, impressive but it's odd to see voat celebrating an act of censorship.

Why Should Police Help United Airlines Cheat Its Customers? submitted by FreeSpeachRocks to news

1HepCat 7 points -6 points (+1|-7) ago

I'm not interested in seeing United make any more money but there are more economic levers that could be pulled before resorting to force/violence...

Airlines should add another fallback layer to the standard ticket contract: if no one takes the 400% + hotel room offer after e.g., 15 minutes, the next phase of the auction is to raise the price of the trip for everyone who hasn't taken the offer e.g., $10 dollars a minute until enough people step forward voluntarily.

This lets passengers weigh their own cost of delaying their flight against the contention for the immediate flight without exposing the airline to potentially unlimited liability.
